KUKA robot maintenance

4 magic weapons for daily maintenance of KUKA robot

Daily inspection of the KUKA robot

1. Brake check

Before normal operation, the motor brake inspection method for each shaft shall be as follows:

(1) run the axis of each manipulator to its load position.

(2) the motor mode selection switch on the robot controller is switched to the position of the electrical authority (MOTORSOFF).

(3) check whether the shaft is in its original position. If the motor is turned off, the manipulator still maintains its position, indicating that the brake is good.

2. Risk of losing the function of decelerating operation (250mm/s)

Do not change gear ratios or other motion parameters from a computer or demonstrator. This will affect the ability to slow down (250mm/s).

3. Use the teaching device safely

An Enablingdevice button is installed on the Enablingdevice. When pressed halfway, the system turns into MOTORSON mode. When the buttons are released or all pressed, the system goes into power mode (MOTORSOFF). In order to use the simulator safely, the following principles must be followed to make the Enablingdevice button not lose its function programming or debugging, and release the Enablingdevice button immediately when the robot does not need to move.

When a programmer enters a secure area, he or she must always carry a teaching device with him or her to prevent others from moving the robot.

4, work within the working range of the manipulator

If you must work within the working range of the manipulator, the following points should be observed

(1) the mode selection switch on the controller must be switched to the manual position to operate the enabling device to disconnect the computer or operate remotely

(2) when the mode selection switch is at the position of < 250mm/s, the zui's high speed limit is 250mm/s. When entering the work area, the switch is usually hit to this position

(3) pay attention to the rotating axis of the manipulator, and be careful of hair or clothes on it. In addition, pay attention to other selected parts or other equipment of the mechanical hand

(4) check the motor brakes of each shaft
